SOAP Webservice API Reference

The QuestionPro SOAP web service API connects your survey data to enterprise systems such as CRMs, ERPs, and ticketing platforms. Requests and responses are exchanged as XML over HTTPS, so any development platform that supports SOAP can integrate with QuestionPro.

The SOAP API is maintained for compatibility with existing enterprise integrations. For new integrations, the QuestionPro REST API is recommended, as it uses JSON with API key authentication and is where new capabilities are released.

Every method requires the username and password parameters of the QuestionPro account. All requests are sent over HTTPS.

Note: Use a dedicated integration user with minimum permissions, and store its credentials in a secrets manager.

Returns all active surveys in the account.

Request parameters:

• username (String): The account username.
• password (String): The account password.

Returns: String[], the surveys in the account.

Returns raw CSV response data for one survey within a time period.

Request parameters:

• username (String): The account username.
• password (String): The account password.
• surveyName (String): The survey name.
• startTime (dateTime.iso8601): The start of the time period.
• endTime (dateTime.iso8601): The end of the time period.

Returns: String, the raw data with one response per line.

Returns raw CSV response data for all surveys in the account within a time period.

Request parameters:

• username (String): The account username.
• password (String): The account password.
• startTime (dateTime.iso8601): The start of the time period.
• endTime (dateTime.iso8601): The end of the time period.

Returns: String, the raw data with one response per line.

Returns all responses linked to an email address, formatted as HTML.

Request parameters:

• username (String): The account username.
• password (String): The account password.
• surveyName (String): The survey name.
• groupCode (String): The name of the email list.
• emailAddress (String): The email address to search for.

Returns: String, the HTML-formatted data for all responses linked to the email address.

Sends a survey invitation to a list of email addresses.

Request parameters:

• username (String): The account username.
• password (String): The account password.
• surveyName (String): The survey name.
• groupCode (String): The name of the email list.
• emailAddress (String[]): The email addresses to send the invitation to.

Returns: Void.
